She is survived by her husband, Louis Cruz, Jr. Those years were spent in numerous administrative roles with her last as administrative assistant to her lifelong friend and Lake County Prosecutor, Bernard Carter. Linda dedicated 25 plus years to working in the courts of Lake County Indiana. This day also marked the 63rd anniversary to her husband, Louis Cruz Jr. She was born Linda Gonzalez on February 21, 1941, in East Chicago, IL, to Matilda Santillan and Arturo Gonzalez. Lynda is survived by her husband, William Denevan, of Santa Cruz daughter, Noelle Wittliff, son-in-law, Derich Wittliff, and two grandsons, Jasper and Milo Wittliff of Los Angeles and son, Norman Watkins, and his beloved dog, Emma, of New York City.
